About me
Hands-on DevRel engineer: I research features, issues, and tools, I build working demos, write the docs and tutorials that explain them, and get in front of developers: on camera, in live workshops, in short- and long-form video, and in writing. Two decades of technical background (development, sysadmin, infrastructure, training) plus 10+ years producing technical content in native-level English and Spanish. I care about one metric above all: how fast a developer gets from "this looks interesting" to "I grok it (deeply understand it) and I'm using it effectively."
Experience
Developer Relations / Technical Content Creator — DonWeb Cloud & IaaS
- Created the developer-facing content program for DonWeb's Cloud & IaaS products, reporting to the division's Marketing Manager and Product Owner (VP of Product): tutorials, guides, video, and demos covering VPS, Linux, Docker, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, DNS/SSL, CMS platforms, and app deployment.
- Designed and delivered live programming and DevOps workshops (2x/month, 300+ sign-ups, 150+ live attendance).
- Sustained a video cadence of 3 short-form videos per week plus one in-depth long-form video per month across social channels (in collaboration with a video editor/brand designer).
- Built and tested every environment, command, and config shipped in content — and reviewed production VPS images, scripts, and configuration examples for correctness and reproducibility.
- Translated complex infrastructure workflows into onboarding paths for developers new to cloud tooling.
- Produced content and demos for product launches in other divisions (EnvialoSimple, Mi Cuenta) and internal training for L1 support staff.
Freelance Technical Content, Translation & Review — Fiverr / Upwork / Direct
- Produced and reviewed developer-facing content for international clients: API documentation, tutorials, training guides, white papers, and localization for US, UK, EU, and Australian tech companies.
- Built a Top Seller reputation on quality and reliability at high volume — 1,500+ positive reviews.
- English↔Spanish technical translation at native level across software, cybersecurity, networking, and developer education.
Content Creator — matiasbaldanza @ Twitch
- Streamed daily learn-in-public sessions on front-end development (React, Next.js) from 2022–2024, averaging 100 concurrent viewers with peaks of 180–200 — comfortable on camera, live-coding, unscripted Q&A.
- Currently active on X and GitHub, building and sharing developer tooling experiments: AI coding agents (Claude Code, MCP servers), self-hosted infra, RAG/evals workflows.
Earlier career — IT Specialist / Sysadmin / Instructor
- 13 years in networking, support, incident response, and systems administration (Generación WiFi S.A. and others), head of support for a local ISP and technical services company, outsourced to banks and enterprises for deployments and incident response. Wrote the documentation, checklists, and FAQs, trained technical staff.
- Instructor and Academic Coordinator at a training facility: designed and taught technical courses for corporate clients and an MCSE/MCP training center.
